Rural Washington State

Here's another picture I took over the Memorial Day weekend to make up for the paucity of words this week.

This was taken about 10 miles west of Ellensburg on Hwy 10.

Yes! I know this place. I love it out there and wish I could get out of the city more, another disadvantage to being all green and giving up your car!!

S'OK, Mary. At the moment, pictures of barns and supernovas are more my speed, anyway. I've been trying to avoid discussing politics.

So, umm, cool barn. Could use some paint maybe. ;-)

Diane - when my dad was a little boy, he would travel out to Ellensburg and environs to visit relatives and pick peaches. He remembers taking the Greyhound bus from Seattle. Now my sister says that some people are commuting from the western part of the valley to the Seattle area. That would be a long expensive commute, and not one I would sign up for.

Cujo359 - I agree. The primary wars exhaust me. There is so much more going on that is more interesting.
