Debate PTSD

The blogger awoke before dawn. She put her socks on. ... Because the floors here are like frakking ice, man, what gives!?

Sorry about slacking off around this place. Been hanging out with brainwashed Obama supporters and dishonest Clinton backers lately. And in case I hadn't mentioned often enough, sweet Jesus, I hate this primary.

Bowers and I got debate credentials so we could watch it on TV at the Constitution Center. Being subjected to that debate was like being mugged in a dark alley, only with less sense of purpose. We were both left once again with the question many of us on the blogs have been asking since the advent of mass Iraq war propaganda began replacing the whole of our foreign policy dialogue back in 2002:

Why do our journalistic elites hate America?

I think your post is blatantly unfair to the media! I mean, what issues are more important than a VP question, talk about the word "bitter" and various other nonsenses? Ok, maybe Iraq? Um, the economy, gas prices, environmentalism? Now that you mention it, alright, I'll give you education, the debt/deficit and poverty. Ugh, torture, Pakistan, the Middle East, .......

But beside all of those ...

They don't hate us, they just think we need to be kept in our place-- otherwise, we might start to think for ourselves, then their parasitic quality would be all too apparent and they'd have to go get jobs, or even actually start doing their jobs, as opposed to telling us what the scandal du jour is. And I guess this prospect is either daunting or boring to them.
