Thought for the Day, part the 2nd

If I were a reasonable person, I would in no wise have done any of what I've done since 2005.

It's a little late in the game to develop a sudden attack of shocking good sense.

Update: Come to think of it, the split may have happened as early as 1991.

Update, the 2nd: If you count when I started reading books subversively, perhaps 1982.

Update, the 3rd: I should clearly have not been taught to read. 1978.

But it is reasonable to want to learn to read. ;-)

And to read books subversively as you begin to become your own person.

God only knows what you did in 1991, but I'm certain it was reasonable too.

And 2005, well, we've had that discussion, and I hope things work out for the best.

George Bernard Shaw says to remind you that all progress depends upon the unreasonable woman.

Thank the gods you're not reasonable, then.

It's all downhill after the l'il buggers learn to read, and think, for themselves. ;-)
