Lowering The Temperature On Iran

"I think it is important for us to send a signal that we are not hellbent on regime change, just for the sake of regime change, but expect changes in behavior." - Barack Obama

Hillary Clinton and 29 other senators wrote to President Bush yesterday to tell him he has no congressional authority for war with Iran, ... Chris Dodd of Connecticut added his support, while Barack Obama of Illinois and Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware declined.

At least they seem to be taking the issue more seriously than some of their more militaristic comments might suggest. Better. Definitely better.
