Maathai Praises Gore

Wangari Maathai, the Kenyan member of parliament who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004, praises the decision to award this year's prize to Al Gore. Gore visited Maathai in 1990 to see first hand the work she was doing with the Green Belt Movement reforestation efforts focused on preventing erosion in her heavily deforested country.

This is good. It seems since Gore won the Nobel prize, everyday we get a news story about how stupid Nobel really winners are.
