Paramilitary Police Raids

Every once in a while, even the CATO Institute has something worthwhile to say. They've put up a map of about 20 years worth of botched paramilitary police raids in conjunction with the release of Radley Balko's new report, Overkill: The Rise of Paramilitary Police Raids in America.

The report claims that perhaps as many as 40,000 such no-knock raids are carried out every year, and it sounds interesting enough that I'm giving thought to shelling out the $10 for it.
