Boston Area

Driving in the Boston area is always challenging, but it's especially fun when it is raining at night. And some drivers are awfully quick with the horn when a clueless Californian tries to figure out exactly how the toll roads work.

But this is an excellent time to be in Massachusetts even with the drizzle because even with the grey skies those autumn colors are mighty fine.

I do not know if it has changed since the trip I made to Boston a while ago, but what I noticed is that nobody in that town knows where anything is! Even the cops were clueless. Maybe they were honking their horns to get your attention so they could ask you how to get somewhere.

It's an exciting time because the Red Sox,Boston College, and the Patriots are all doing well.

I dunno why you're there, but I hope you get some time in Cambridge around Harvard Square.

Driving in Massachusetts is always a challenge because the traffic engineers began with horsepaths, converted to roads and I suspect, did so on LSD.

Have a great time there, Mary.
