Arctic Ice Cap Continues To Collapse

The Arctic ice cap is shrinking daily.

But no need to worry about the polar bears, because as they said over at Grist, the bears will be only "84 percent screwed" by the complete disappearance of our Arctic heat shield. The rest of us will be too preoccupied trying to figure out how we're going to feed ourselves to remember about polar bears, so it's nice to have that cleared up early. Just in case it were to niggle at the back of your mind after the coming world refugee crisis begins to hit home.

This is your reminder to call your congresscritters at (202) 224-3121 (the Representative and both Senators) to ask them what they're doing to combat global warming. It'd be nice if they'd support the Markey bill in the House, and the Sanders-Boxer bill in the Senate, but make it clear that even these pieces of legislation don't go far enough towards neutralizing our emissions and we should expect better out of them.

Huge chunks of ice broke and moved over 50,000 years ago, forming the Great Lakes. No corporations to blame, not capitalists.

So much for your stupid socialist theory.

There aren't socialist facts, and these aren't my facts. You're so far off that you aren't even wrong.
