Novakula Redux

With Robert Novak so prominently in the news along with Ambassador Joe Wilson, it seems a good time to drag out of the closet two of my favorite stories about my blogging partner, natasha.

First, natasha was present at Representative Jay Inslee's town hall in August 2003 when Joe Wilson expressed a desire to see Karl Rove "frog marched" out of the White House for his part in outing Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame. And as far as I know, natasha was the first to write about the incident.

Then natasha was one of the bloggers covering the 2004 DNC Convention and ran into the notorious Novak one afternoon. What happened next is a matter of controversy. Dave Johnson and Burnt Orange's Byran LeMaster insist that when she chased Robert Novak through the hall with her questions, he turned into a bat and flew away. I suspect that what really happened is he found her (im)pertinent questions too much to take and decided to flee to keep from answering her.

Finally Robert Novak can no longer hide behind his pundit position in Washington and has to answer questions about his role truthfully. Perhaps we will finally see some justice done.

I'm pleased that my pal, natasha, has played a small part in exposing Novak's role. You go girl!
