Breaking News: Pot Calls Kettle Black

Bolton Resigns. Bush reluctantly accepts resignation.

Then the most stubborn man in America blames the Democrats in the Senate for being stubborn.

Mr. Bush, who is expected to meet with Mr. Bolton later today, said in his statement that this “stubborn obstructionism ill serves our country, and discourages men and women of talent from serving their nation.”

Aw. Isn't that cute? A president who single-handedly is destroying the effectiveness of our government by pushing good people out is blaming the Democrats for making it hard to have good people serve in the government. At least we can now say: "Heckovajob Bolton!"

Bush really has a way of putting the "dip" in diplomacy.

Very nice turn of phrase, shoephone.

I've been waiting to hear that statement - "this stubborn obstructionism" - since the elections. Mark my word, these people are planning an attempt at Martial Law, the dissolution of Congress, and a "postponement" of the '08 election. That statement is the first of justifications.

We have been here before.
