Who Blogs & Why?

The Pew Internet & American Life Project have released a new survey of the blogosphere, Bloggers: A Portrait of the Internet's New Storytellers.

According to the summary, a plurality of people use their blogs to talk about personal issues, 37 percent, while political blogging is a far second, only 11 percent. Other topics were all in single digits. I must confess that I won't be digging into this survey until after the election, but it seemed interesting enough to note in passing and mark for a later read.
