PBS Budget Cuts

A 23% budget for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, hence PBS and NPR, made it out of committee June 7. Tell your congresscritter to vote against slashing funds for public radio and television.

We need at least a couple media outlets in the country who can be relied upon not to think that an article entitled, "Swiftboating has become a hate term," as if there was some question, is worthy of syndication. And anyway, if we lose Big Bird, the terrorists have already won.

Why? Isn't PBS a waste of money?

Of course it is. What is most amusing about this particular thread is that the extremists at Kos don't think that anything that opposes their point of view should be syndicated. Open-midedness sure is pretty narrow for the left, isn't it?
