At Least 18,000 Dead In Pakistan

Whole villages have been flattened by a 7.6 quake that was felt as far as Afghanistan and rescue workers are still digging bodies out of the rubble. Hundreds are dead in Indian Kashmir, but again, the final totals won't be known for a while.

I expect that Doctors Without Borders and the International Red Cross will be along to help the victims directly, so consider clicking over to give them a hand if you can. I know most of you probably gave a little something for the Katrina victims, but a little something extra would go a very long way in Pakistan and India.
