Seattle Political Events

DNC Chairman Howard Dean will be visiting the area most of the week, and if that wasn't enough for you, Jim Wallis of Sojourners magazine and author of God's Politics: Why the Right Gets It Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It! will also visit Seattle. Also, those of us in the 8th Congressional District should keep in mind that there's a strategizin' session going on this coming Saturday in Renton, details to be provided later.

  • Tue Apr 12, 7:30 PM, Vancouver WA. The student body of WSU Vancouver and WSU's Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Service and Public Policy will host Chairman Dean at Skyview High School on April 12th. Tix are $11. Tickets & info
  • Wed April 13, 8AM, Columbia Center, Seattle. Breakfast with Chairman Dean (DNC Fundraiser). Tix are $125 and up. Tickets & info
  • Wed April 13, 10AM, Qwest Field Exhibition Center, Seattle. Governor Dean is giving the keynote at the Rainier Institute Health Care Conference. $50 for the Dean session of the conference. Registration & info
  • June 3 & 4, Helena, MT. Yes, this isn't coming up anytime soon, but don't say you weren't warned. Chairman Dean will be at the Western Regional Caucus Conference meeting that weekend. If you anticipate Dean Withdrawal so severe by then that you would up and drive to Montana, send me a message (natasha.the at gmail.com) and I'll put you in touch with the right people.
