New Primate Ancestor

A recent fossil discovery in Spain fills in a gap in the primate fossil record just a little bit better. The fossil primate is believed to be one of the first ancestors to move to a partially upright posture, which requires a good few adaptations, and possibly one of the last common ancestors of apes and humans.

The new species is homo bushitian - an ape with the ability to stand upright but barely speak or think.
