Crossfire Fires Back, Misses

After Jon Stewart's Friday appearance on Crossfire, I tuned in to the show today to see if they'd respond, and they did. Robert Novak just said that Stewart wasn't very funny and said two or three times that he was "uninformed."

But what do you expect from a traitorous hack like Novak? Doubtless he found Stewart's description of him as a "douchebag of liberty" extremely unfunny, but in all the time he must have had to think about it, the best he could come up with was to call Stewart uninformed? Both unfunny, and demonstrably untrue, just like hackery of the administration he supports.

Carville also seemed ticked. While he didn't make as much of a jerk of himself as Novak, even proudly claiming his hackdom, my respect for him just went down a good few notches.

I've never respected Carville, nor Carlson, nor Novak... I've always hated Crossfire for good reason -- and Jon pointed them out nicely on Friday.

I missed crossfire today and from this post I'm sorry I did. I did catch Jon Stewart on the show last week and loved it. His humor seemed much drier than normal, but extremely biting toward both Carlson and Begala. I really wish that he had been on when Carville and Novak were hosting, but CNN is becoming more and more of a hack job on everything and I wonder just how Ted Turner feels about what he built has turned out!

Interestingly I was living in Atlanta when CNN went on the air and I was at the opening ceremonies on Techwood Drive (I think that was the name of the street) and remember thinking that Ted had lost his mind. Oh well--All those billions later!

FUNNY Daily SHow with Jon talking about what happened Friday...

And after he talks briefly about Mary Cheney, he takes a jab at Crossfire and what he said during Crossfire:

"Media Good, Media Good... Funny Monkey, Funny Monkey..."

But you did hear Jon say that calling Tucker a 'dick' was a mistake?

He realizes now that he should have called him a 'pussy'.
