Dubya's National Guard records.

Remember those? Well, Dubya sure hopes you don't.

And after reading a couple of very interesting articles about those records in Salon, we have a much better idea of why the White House has tried so hard to discourage press attention to questions about Dubya's National Guard service.

The first article of the pair this one deals with what we still don't know about the prez's National Guard service, and whether Dubya's service records have been 'sanitized.' The second this one points out that only one name was blacked out in Dubya's files &!51; and that person has Saudi connections galore (including some to the bin Laden family).

Complicated, fascinating stuff. If you only have time to read one article, we suggest the second one.
