The US death toll in Iraq.

The number of deaths in the last two weeks is the highest since October 1971. Yes, that was during the Vietnam War.

Of course, Dubya says we're not supposed to make comparisons between Iraq and Vietnam because it would send the 'wrong message' to US troops. We're certain that, if we just obeyed the prez, US troops in Iraq would never notice that they are starting to drop like flies.
