After a Brookings Institute panel on China's role in the world in which he expressed concern about nuclear proliferation and praised the reverse proliferation of the Six Party Talks with North Korea, I asked David Ignatius of the Washington Post why it seemed that only British papers were interested in writing about Sibel Edmonds. I mentioned briefly who she was, that the leaked nuclear secrets she's been trying to tell the press about made it all the way to North Korea.
And he said, "I don't know anything about the case. ... I'll look into it, I've got to go." And he turned to talk to someone else.
When he passed me a few minutes later on his way out, he asked me who I worked for again, because I'd asked such an "unlikely question." I suppose if David Ignatius never heard of it, that makes something a very unlikely question, indeed.

I think his question to you, combined with the fact that you were merely representing yourself, somes up the media; unaware, irresponsible and lazy.
