Is it ever really too late to wish someone a Happy Independence Day?
I hope not. Certainly, when I read Keith Olbermann's July 4th comment on how Bush ceased to be President of the United States when he pardoned Libby, I felt that I'd been wished a Happy Independence Day, myself.
How did we get here, in this unspeakable mess? How did we end up backed into these corners? Who is responsible?
I don't know for sure and certain, but it'd be nice to just stop it already.
