Lori Saldana took what she learned from participating in the Dean campaign and is running as a Democrat for a seat in the California assembly. Go give her a hand, or at least some moral support in the form of encouraging email.
Atrios finds that what was a joke on a blog may now become economic orthodoxy. You know people have strayed far from reality when they can claim with a straight face that food service might count as manufacturing work.
Big, Left, & Outside points to interesting commentary on the dispute over CJR's scolding of bloggers, link courtesy of Electrolite.
Calpundit writes about the Union of Concerned Scientists' recent report about the disregard for science that characterizes the Bush administration. There were seven main topics of concern, each of them alarming all by themselves.
Change for America points to other Dean supporters running for office. Also, via a commenter there, we're directed to Act Blue which lists close races where a little help could turn or keep a seat Democratic.
dKos runs Meteor Blades' alert that exposure to low level EM fields damages brain cells. Things like that can make a person wonder if it's an entirely good idea to spend so much time on a computer.
Joe Trippi on grassroots organizing.
Ms. Magazine notes that Kristof is just the latest in a long line of wingnuts to discover a terrible gender related problem for the first (to them) time, and accuse feminists of not caring about it, even when ample evidence exists that feminists were caring about it before said wingnut even caught wind of it. Also, they post good commentary on the mommy myth.
Pandagon notes that Kerry was instrumental in outing Iran-Contra, plus Oliver North dislikes him. On balance, a fine recommendation.
Skeptical Notion points out an example of how to alienate Dean supporters. Another way would be to assume that your local LD precinct committee officer list is now a recruitment group for your frontrunning candidate's Meetups before a nominee has even been chosen, which didn't go over well with the Edwards people, either.
Uggabugga diagrams Chalabi's business entanglements in the so far unsuccessful, but massively profitable, rebuilding of Iraq.

I was fine with that until you left me hanging. What's a "LD precinct committee officer list", and what, specific, assumptions about it should annoy me?
If you'd be so kind as to clarify that for me, I'd much appreciate it.
