Speaking louder than words.
The Economic Policy Institute has compared Washington's annual job growth predictions with the number of jobs the US economy actually delivered. From the figures, we'd have to say that Dubya's Council of Economic Advisors is either made up of a bunch of habitual liars who cook the figures to suit the administration's political needs, or (charitably) the council is totally clueless about how the US economy works. We don't know which worries us more.
As usual, the EPI has put together some graphs to go along with their explanations. This one sums things up pretty well.
