We always like it when, after being away from blogging for a day or so, we check out the news to find that a new poll shows Dubya's popularity is down. Like we thought, capturing Saddam was only good for an upward blip, not for any permanent reversal of Dubya's post-Iraq 'victory' slide.

And Dubya's approval rating has dropped even farther among independent voters, whose support is critical for his re-election.
