Peace on Earth
Christmas is a time of complex emotions, good or bad depending on your personal situation. If you are fortunate enough to be around small children, there is a joy and wonder that is palpable. For many, it is the chance to spend time with your family and friends. For others, it is a time to miss your family or to feel isolated when either there is no family or when the season is alien.
Yet, it is also a time to dream about what kind of world we'd like to have and to create for ourselves and those that follow us. It is a time to believe that we can have a world where there is more love and less hate. A world with more peace and less war. And a world that values us all. My wish for you is that your life is enriched with agape and your gift to others is your own love and appreciation of others.
Find some time to listen to some music, enjoy some pleasant and loving conversation with friends and take in the beauty of the world around you. And do read and enjoy Allen Brill's message for the day about the gift of love.
Finally, let's commit to work for a more peaceful and better world.
