Heard on CNN
One of the ubiquitous CNN talking heads last night was heard saying:
This story is really big! In fact, it could eclipse the Iraq war!
I'm sure that President Bush is pleased to see stories of the protests of his state visit pushed off the front page. And moreso that it arose in time to distract the world from the goings on in Iraq.
I find it a bit curious that the Jackson story was held almost three weeks before breaking. Perhaps that belies it's importance? Lesson learned: BIG does not mean IMPORTANT.
