Polling Good News
I'm in transit today so I don't have much time to post, yet I did want to say I was heartened to see the following story in the NYTimes today:
Bush's Popularity With Older Voters Is Seen as Slipping
According to the article, Bush's popularity with people over 65 has only 41% of these voters viewing him positively. This is good news. This group includes a broad swath of the old World War II vets that see what Bush is doing to this country. I hope that we start to see this trend moving across the rest of the generations as they also start to see the consequences of this administration's policy.
Update: It seems that one of those WW2 veterans that is unhappy with the mess that GWB is creating might just be good ole pop. Georgie Anne Geyer is sure that the reason Dad picked Ted Kennedy this year for the 2003 George Bush Excellence In Public Service is to let Junior know he is once again screwing up royally.
