Computer Woes
Yesterday I closed my laptop when going to another meeting and it never woke up again. After some real panic, I was able to find a loaner, but realized I've lost some important things: like the password I used to log into Kos' new site. Hopefully by the weekend I can get it recovered so I can comment again. And I lost hours and hours of time trying to get enough of my environment back to do some of my work. So not much of a post today, guys, unless Natasha can pull herself away from her massive pile of school work.
One piece of good news: NPR had a very critical piece today discussing the failure of the Bush foreign policy. Although it closed with the comment that perhaps things might turn around, the story showed that so far the tough-guy go-it-along policy is proving to be a miserable failure. Here is yet another place where the rightwing radicals have actually gotten to try out their policy and when it fails, no one can say it wasn't because they didn't get a chance to make it work. It is really too bad that we have to suffer their screwups and misguided ideologies.

Oy! The reading I need to do!
