Friday Roundup
Because it isn't really Saturday until I've gone to bed and woken up again...
Buzzflash interviews John Dean on the Plame affair, while CalPundit discusses what exactly she did for the CIA. Lilith rounds up the OSP coverage, and Billmon then drags up a good tidbit from the WA Post noting that not only was an agent outed, but also a CIA front company. (And again I ask, 'Just how stupid do you have to be to make a full frontal attack on the CIA?')
But Billmon has other good things over at the bar, including but not limited to, a post on why Limbaugh should be doing hard time, why this month's job numbers aren't anything to cheer about yet, and... I'm waiting for the Evil Kirk to come out of the wings at this point, and that's only barely kidding... comments briefly on Schwarzenegger's past praise for Hitler.
Orcinus on a California Republican's ties to Christian Reconstructionism with a footnote on how it ties in with the black box electronic voting, and why Limbaugh is just dense.
Atrios linked to the new Get Your War On, and he points out that (and you now have to ask yourself if Republicans are playing 'I double-dog dare you to say that in public' at their Washington wurlitzer breakfasts) Grover Norquist compared taxes to the Holocaust and Apartheid. Also, as a side note, if you do a search on Google containing the phrase 'tax reform', it will bring up a text ad off to the side for the Heritage Foundation.
Wampum does an early Flashback.
The Mad Prophet talks about 100% Sweat Free Garments, or something like that. If you want to be sure that clothes weren't made by child labor, or by people packed into the human equivalent of a dangerously flammable sardine can for 12 hours a day, click on over and look at supporting No Sweat Apparel. (Yeah, yeah, I'm making you click because I feel guilty for not promoting this more over the last few months.)
If the Apostropher should ever be caught in public committing some egregious breach of etiquette, his apology has been prepared in advance. "My actions have upset my staff and crew. Women and Mormons. The great state of Wyoming. I feel I have no choice but to resign. Turn myself in. Return the monkeys as soon as I can find them." Heh.
Let the Record Show reviews the Iraq-Al Qaida connection lies.
Digby on civil civic discourse.
Al-Muhajabah talks about the struggle of Kuwaiti women trying to get the vote, and Muslim feminists in Cleveland.
Ampersand with parts six and seven of a series on why the pay gap between men and women isn't explained away by age or experience.
Also, if you've sent me email in the last month, been waiting for me to update your link on the blogroll, etc., I'll try to get around to whatever it is as soon as I can. Which, looking at my homework load and offline commitments, may not be very soon.

Also they're cheap and some of the clothes are awesome. They last forever.
