Tuesday Reading
Go say 'hi' to the folks at Open Source Politics, a group of 44 bloggers who've gotten together to post essays and other political ramblings. Some good stuff up already, go check it out.
Liberal Oasis interviews Paul Krugman.
Sisyphus digs up Bill Janklow's version of compassion.
Notes on the Atrocities points out an offline article about being down and out in Oklahoma City.
Josh Marshall talks about Ahmed Chalabi's shady past, and then below that, about the seeds of a new propaganda line that appears to be getting ready to shift blame for failure in Iraq onto internal saboteurs. Like the State Department, the CIA, the media, and of course, the protestors.
Oliver Willis on Dick Cheney's lies under oath, and a publishing house that seems to exist for the sole purpose of trashing liberals.
How To Save The World writes about weblog design and layout.
Billmon dissects the latest Wolfowitz column.
As the Guardian points out, the Elite Force Aviator doll wasn't the last schlocky war-related knick-knack to assault the buying public. Both talking and farting presidential dolls have been released by toymakers of readily apparent loyalties, along with a host of merchandise idolizing the former Iraqi information minister. And on a more serious (but perversely, less unsettling) note, George Monbiot discusses the raging inequalities that currently plague the global community, and the developed world subsidies that fuel them.

And those folks at the Open Source Politics seem to have a really cool thing going for them. Nice to have some one-stop reading. :-)
Thanks for the mention. Somehow I was invited into this group blog (an oversight I am sure is going to be corrected one of these days) and hope I can live up the the complaiments you have given here. If my spelling on this comment post is any indication, I'm in for a short tenure!
By the way, excellent posting, as always, Pacific Views
