POOR MARY, POOR NATASHA
Remember me? Pat K., California? The one who was going to be a third writer on this blog … but who has disappeared faster than a $20 bill left lying on a sidewalk?
Poor Mary and Natasha. I bet they thought they’d made quite a deal when they got me to agree to write. Little did they know they were making a deal with a terminally busy woman who’s workload would suddenly go into overdrive … after only two essays, no less.
Let me share this with you. I haven’t heard a word out of either of them along the lines of, “Uh, gee, Pat … do you think you could pick up the pace a bit?” In fact, they’ve been the souls of patience, blogging every single day with a steadfastness I can only admire.
Maybe some day I’ll figure out how they do it and start to be a regular contributor. In the meantime, I will blog as I am able. In fact, this weekend would be a good time for a piece or two. Stay tuned …
Pat,
I'm happy to hear from you whenever you have time, it's not a big deal. But here's the secret to the mad blogging: it's gotten really addictive. If I go without blogging here for a day now, I feel like I'm missing something. I've been bitten.
Can't wait to see what you plan to post this weekend.
