Privatizing Our National Parks
One of the more "creative" ideas the Bushies have come up with for saving money is privatizing the national park rangers. They really need to save money so they can give massive tax cuts to their friends, fund their weapon systems and intrusive police state databases, and provide incentives to the Conservative Christians to pick up the slack for the "compassion" missing in the Bush priorities. And besides which, you don't need to worry about those lowly government employees speaking out against your policies, especially when they insist on using science to draw conclusions. This is not the Bush way and it must be stomped out ASAP!
But, so much for the rant. Mark Fiore, my favorite multimedia cartoonist puts it all into perspective for us!
(Thanks, Patience, for the link to the excellent work being done by Representative Henry Waxman and the Congressional minority staff.)

Gosh, pogo. Talk about micromanaging. I agree with Susan that we ought to privatize Bush's job -- a janitor could do better than he is.
